Federation Tuckpointing is an Award Winning company, started by Nigel Graham in 1987 to help meet the demand for restoration and maintenance of brickwork and limestone, and has since become the largest Tuckpointing specialist in WA.
Tuckpointing is a specialised brick finish, originally done in the early 1900's to "hide" unevenly shaped bricks. It is a very neat and attractive finish which adds value to homes, preserves character and enhances heritage value.
We recently completed the restoration of the façade at The Old Mill Theatre. The project took 3 months and included inserting a damp-course layer, 800 bricks were replaced, lintel replacement, full restoration of chimneys and mouldings and finished off with our trademark tuckpointing.
