A Chimney is an important feature of any home as it has a functional purpose as well as aesthetic value. A chimney in need or restoration will usually be letting in water and therefore causing other problems.

Chimneys can become functional again by re-pointing, but if they were originally tuckpointed, they should be fully restored and thereby really give a strong aesthetic boost!
